This is the 3rd Samsung Front loading washing machine I've had that has had the shocks go out resulting in loud shaking and screeching of metal on metal rubbing. Prior 2 Samsung provided some support in repairs however this time they will not assist. The washer is only 2 years and 7 months old and it is unacceptable for that we have to deal with this already and that Samsung won't stand behind their products.

Worst purchase ever !

bought this washer and dryer as set for our new home which replaced the old school top load white set which was working pretty fine but we thought let's buy something new and fancy and since then we are having issues and issues with the washer. they dryer seems to work fine but the washer we just can't get it to vibrate and make loud banging noise. when you start the load it looks like its going to break the door open and when the spin cycle starts it always makes me nervous that something it going to break. i have leveled it and everything but still. my fault is i got lazy and waited to long to complain about it. now its not under 1 year warranty.

we bought the matching washer and dryer from lowe's. the machines were well built and looked great. however, the washing machine was way too noisy during the rinse cycle. we spent quite a bit of time making sure it was level. eventually called for service and the tech said that is just the way it sounds, nothing wrong with it. we returned them both and bought another brand.

i got my washer and dryer a year and a half ago. my dryer is working just fine but the washer has given me a lot of problems. at first, it was leaking and my husband was able to find the problem and fix it. now it is making a terrible noise in the spinning cycle (even when empty) and he cannot find the root of the problem. there should not be so many problems in a washer in such little time.

i was excited when i first ordered this set, but i have only had it for 2yrs and the control panel already went out and the door will not unlock. i had the control panel replaced and it will run a load, but the door still wont unlock. it cost me $420 to have the control panel replaced, and now its going to cost another $200 to have the latch on the door manually opened and replaced. samsung needs to extend their warranties for these issues for longer than they do. if i had known i would be paying $620 just to get it fixed, i would have just said, dont order the parts i'll order a new washer from a different brand.

i have been a samsung fan for many years now but this experience has sworn me off this brand forever. i bought this item as a washer/ dryer bundle and boy do i regret it. on 8/31/2021 i purchased the items and it was delivered 9/8/2021. since we has some work being done at our home the machine was not used until the following week. the second time using it, the machine shook so violently it damaged the the frame and i had to power off ( i was washing one comforter at time). i contacted samsung, they sent a technician, who informed me the machine was defective and there was a bolt that was broken or damaged inside. samsung is of little help to fix the problem .

Get's clothes very clean without soap residue

the samsung washer replace a maytag which i had before. the laundry comes out significantly cleaner. there are several shades of white difference between maytag and now really white with samsung. i love the convenience of the pre soak and the ability to rinse 5 times all in one setting instead of having to run the same load multiple times to achieve the same thing with maytag. the washer plays a pretty little tune "die florelle" when it's finished. i am pleased with the purchase and thank all the folks to contributed to me having this lovely machine very much.

Terrible service for inferior products

i bought a washer and dryer. the first time i used the washer it made a loud banging noise on the spin cycle. i thought it might go away so i used it several more times before finally putting in a ticket. the next day my dryer stopped working completely. a technician came out and replaced the motor on my brand new dryer. he said there was nothing wrong with my washer because he ran all his tests. i showed him a video of the sound. he said nothing was wrong but if i heard the loud banging noise again i should call immediately. so he left, i did a load of laundry and the loud banging noise was still there!! now i can't put in another ticket because the system gets an error message. very disappointed because i have always been a big fan of samsung. not anymore!

bought this washer in october 2020 and less than 7 months later the thing was already broken. the weighted spin part that is activated when machine spins is junk plastic filled with brown cement. the thing cracked right in half, tearing the plastic up and filling the inside of washer with brown dust. well, its august 13th 2021 and it still hasn't been fixed. customer service sucks and if you live in ma, beware! williston repair has one guy only for each service area. they have cancelled my appt. 3 times already, the last time being this morning at the time the dbag was supposed to show up. i will never buy samsung again and williston repair you suck!

i bought the set on january 23, 2021 the washer does not work, i spoke to samsung, they did not give me the guarantee because i installed it, i spoke to the home depot and they did not help me at all i have a month without a washing machine i paid $ 1700 for the set of what i wanted from samsung neither home depot did not give me an option to fix the washing machine myself i opened the washing machine to see what happened, surprise is a used washing machine where the counterweight of the drum was loose and dirty with broken screws nor 3 months i have with this washing machine supposedly it was new

this washer has some nice features. but i find it frustrating that i cannot open the door and add an additional item to a load once the cycle has started. i have exchanged emails about this with samsung and was told it's not an option. most of us find that one thing we'd like to throw in so disappointing. the other issue i have is that i leave the door ajar so the washer can dry out. it drips water on my floor, unless the door is left fully open. this option does not work in my laundry room especially since the door does not open fully to be flush with the washer.

This is my second Samsung steam front load washer. My previous set was 11-12 years old and when it was time to replace them I simply looked to the newest model to replace. I was concerned about having to purchase a new laundry pair during the pandemic after hearing horror stories of people having to wait months for new appliances but got lucky and was able to purchase my set during a sale and snag both the washer and dryer in my preferred champagne colorway. Set is very close to my old set, and because I am at home almost constantly anymore, to opt for the non wifi version. The new set is very quiet and virtually wobble free despite being stacked. The clothes come out very clean and even the quick wash cycle is efficient. Cosmetically this set is a beauty to behold and I really like the dark doors over the clear ones on my old units. It is a very sleek addition to my laundry room. I hope this set serves me as well as my old one and remains as troublefree from a maintenance perspective. All in all a gold medal winner in this household!

i actually did my homework before selecting this washer and dryer. i have never been so disappointed with an appliance and the lack of service as i am with this washer. since it was installed, it shakes violently during the spin cycle. the installer said "it was fine" and the samsung repairman said it was not balanced and it was the installer's fault. additionally, if the detergent cup is open & you open the door at the same time, water pours onto the floor. the door doesn't close properly and adds to the banging. samsung won't help me other than to send me links so that i can fix it! so i'm at the mercy of the store where i bought it. it's been 4 months now of apprehension and noisy (it startles me from across the house noisy) clothes washing.

couldn't wait to buy these, loved the color and the style. moved to a new location got new washer and dryer. neither one work right. the washer is so loud it always sounds like it is off balance, the cycles do not work correctly. i will never buy this brand again. i have service coming and i hope they can fix. less than 6mths old. they paint also has discolored on the top and i had it covered up so it would not get scratches would love to know how that happens.

Very frustrated without SmartThings support

my wife and i were so excited to purchase our first washer and dryer and were set on samsung for the beautiful champagne color and smartthings app control! we were so disappointed to discover we mistakenly ordered the wrong model without the wifi feature and didn't realize it until after we took delivery and attempted to connect to smartthings 2 days later. can someone please help us exchange these for the models we should have ordered in the first place?? i called immediately once i discovered this error and so far have been met with unhelpful scripted responses of rejection because 48 hours have lapsed! i know i overlooked this detail but am really wanting to find a solution to exchange for the models we really wanted with smartthings support!

samsung and xpo don't care about you. no commitment with delivering dates . and xpo the delivering partner has one of worst customer service, the agent don't make what they promise i called 3x and speak with 2 different agents about re programs on delivering, they say something and do other samsung took 3 weeks to send to xpo and after 10days at xpo hub no delivering or installation if you want this product, go to store, buy and install your self
