It as very easy to identify the required filters and order from the LG website. The filters were received in a timely fashion. I ordered a pack of three therefore I should be good for the next 18 months. Replacing the filter was fairly simple.

I bought my LG refridgerator about 2 years ago and only had 1 problem . ME I unprogramed the unite but figured out what I did and reprogrammed it. Just bought 3 filters but havent finished with the one I previously bought from the store.

The water tastes funny and leaves a metallic taste in my mouth. Ive read reviews where other people have said the same. I wouldnt have purchased an LG refrigerator had I known how bad the water tasted and I change my filter regularly. No more LG appliances for me.

I love the French door refrigerator. I especially love the in door ice maker because it frees up so much shelf space. And a bonus of a second ice maker in freezer is great. My old French door not LG had a 4 inch self that ran across the door. I do miss that because smaller items didnt get lost

I love the double ice maker. My old freezer had a small shelf across the freezer door which I miss for small stuff. I wish the freezer had dividers. But the overall refrigerator is great. The on the door ice maker leaves plenty of room in fridge

Now that we have had our LG refrigerator for five months we are totally appreciating it. At first I thought I was going to have a problem with the different arrangement going from side-by-side to French door. Boy do I love it so much better. The freezer is easier to find things and get ice. Two I makers are a godsend.

I agree that these filters are VERY difficult to install. As DAVE011 commented I have to remove the top two shelves in my fridge in order to get enough leverage to twist the new filter into place. Its been this way from day one weve owned our fridge for over 3 years now. Ive actually had the adapter up in the ceiling of the fridge twist out and I was afraid I wouldnt be able to get it back in...

The replacements are difficult to install. I had to remove all items on top 2 shelves and the shelves to get enough leverage to install the new filters. last 3 times.
