I knew I'd be impressed with this induction cooktop, but it has even surpassed my expectations. Everything I cook turns out exactly right, which is a major upgrade from our 40+ year old appliances we had before. Everything cooks evenly, it's super easy to clean up and makes cooking less of a chore. My partner who doesn't cook a lot is especially impressed at how he can make things turn out great too!

I LOVE my induction cooktop for several reasons: it is fast, no doubt more energy efficient and the individual timers are a wonderful safety feature, if you tend to put water on to boil, and wak away to do something else,only to discover it has boiled away by the time you get back! Knowing also the short time it takes to complete a cooking cycle, but not knowing the actual dollar amount, we calculate we must be simultaneously be saving electricity since something takes seconds instead of minutes. I love this cooktop

This is the second Bosch induction cooktop I've had (in two different houses) and will never use gas to cook again. It is fast in both heating up and cooling down and maintains an even cooking temperature. It also has two timers; one is a kitchen timer and the other shuts is the element and the end of the time set. It's easy to clean and looks beautiful in my kitchen.

It's been amazing so far!

We've only had this cooktop for a few months. In that time, it has been everything I was hoping for. The amount of time it takes to boil water on power boost is phenomenal. It literally takes about two minutes. The cooktop itself is very easy to clean and stays looking nice as long as you clean up right after cooking.

800 Series Induction Cooktop 36'' Black

With over 40 years of using gas and most recently 5 years of electric/ceramic stovetops, we were skeptical of the induction cooktop when we first read about it. Then there was the pot and pan compatible material question, noise reports and unheard of water boiling times. Well after 3 months since installing our 800 Series Induction Cooktop we are firm believers we made the correct choice. First off only one pan out of over 20 was not compatible with induction. It was a low cost aluminum pan the Teflon type coating. In my 1st test water was boilin in just over a minute, incredible performance. Gone were the off/on cycling of electric, the monitor and adjustments of gas or the initial hot spots of either one. The constant feed induction is simply amazing. Once you understand the temp output by setting, 1-9 with .5 increments, it's a simple set and done. Bacon in my 10" cast iron pan looks as if I cooked it a preheated oven, evenly cooked across the entire pan. That's just one example of the cooking side of it. Afterwards stovetop cooldown is within a couple minutes. There's no spillover burning on the stovetop. Clean-up is a simple wipe and done and the cooktop looks like new again. The operational control, wi-fi enable monitoring, multi stage cook/warm settings or shutdown is over the top. We purchased Bosch based on their noted reliably, performance and customer support. To date we are thoroughly impressed with all aspects of our Bosch unit.

I have had this cooktop installed for 5 months. For the past 7 weeks it has not worked. It reads "e" and none of the burners work. I have had a ridiculously hard time finding someone that will work on the appliance because it's still under warranty and no one will work on it because I bought it online and not thru them. I gave it one star because when it works it is awesome. Boils water extremely fast and the temperature control is excellent. It's very similar to using a gas stove top.

So easy to use, so fast, so responsive and so beautiful. Easy to clean. I never thought I would love anything as much as my gas cooktop but this induction cooktop has converted me. I have cooked puddings, vegetables, sautéed meats and heated soups; nothing scorched. I love it!

Induction Cooktop

I recently replaced my 36" Kitchenaid standard electric cooktop with the Bosch 36" model. The new cooktop fit perfectly without any modifications needed. The Bosch cooktop is a great improvement as far as control of the temperatures. Speed of warmup and cooldown is excellent. The timer features and the Auto Chef features are also useful.

This is our second induction Bosch cooktop. We though we will be able to use our previous cooktop, unforunetly our new house kitchen required the bigger 36" size. Without hesitation we ordered athe newest from Bosch induction cooktop. I am amazed induction is still not that populat in the US regardless of all pros having one. The only thing for some people might make them hesitant is replacing the cookware with induction cookware. Way worth the upgrade considering the safety, convenience, easy to clean and how much faster you cook than electric and as fast if not faster than gas. No brainer!

Out of box failure

Bosch Cooktop failure 8/10/2021

We purchased this induction cooktop from United Wholesale in Kent, Washington. We bought Bosch because of its reputation for quality and service. We have experienced neither. The cooktop doesn't work. We asked United for a replacement and they said we needed to have a Bosch approved technician look at the installation. We did and the tech says we need lots of new parts.and even then he couldn't guarantee the thing would work. Better yet,we have been told that even if the tech fails Bosch has to inspect it to see if they can get it to work. And only then would anybody replace a relatively expensive cooktop. It's nobody's "fault", but we have been without a cooktop for almost three months and United and Bosch want us to wait how long?

We recently replaced our Bosch standard cooktop with an 800 series induction top. Money well spent. The rapid response to temperature settings is excellent. Unlike an earlier induction stove we previously used (a different manufacturer) the Bosch has a very even element distribution.

So, we made the switch from an electric cooktop. Couldn't be happier. If for no other reason than we can boil water in seconds. The controls are easy to use. Clean up is easy, and the response is better than gas to get the exact temp you want.
