Enjoy the ease, speed, safety, and efficiency of induction cooking with Summit Appliance's new series of 24" wide induction ranges, made in the USA. Model TEM665CW brings precise and efficient cooking to smaller kitchen spaces with a 24" footprint. The cooking surface features four induction zones, while the large electric oven offers nearly 3 cu.ft. of cooking space for baking and broiling. This unit comes in a jet black finish and no rear backguard for a slide-in look. It has a recessed oven door and is conveniently sized at just 24" deep for a better fit in galley in L-shaped kitchens, where every inch counts. A towel bar handle in brushed stainless steel provides an added touch of style to the oven door. This range requires professional installation with a standard 40 amp 3 or 4-prong cord. Unlike radiant heating, induction technology utilizes magnetized energy that starts inside the cookware, meaning the temperature of the actual cooktop surface does not get nearly as hot as traditional gas or electric elements. Most of the heat is retained inside your cookware, making induction technology the most efficient heating method for your kitchen. The surface is constructed from smooth EuroKera black glass to create a modern, easy-to-clean surface. The front left and rear right elements are sized at 8 1/4", ideal for boiling large pots of water or cooking with woks and other large cookware. They can function at a maximum of 3000W for up to 5 minutes when using the "booster" setting, or 2000W during regular operation. The 6 1/4" rear left and front right elements reach 2000W at the booster setting, or 1500W in normal operation. The smart burner layout helps provide plenty of room so that larger cooking vessels are spaced apart, making it easier to use all four elements without cookware colliding. Touch controls allow intuitive operation. The digital display shows which elements are in use and their power setting. Audible beeps sound when the touch controls are activated. A timer function lets you program a power level and cook time (up to 99 minutes) that can either turn the unit off when complete, or serve as a visual countdown with an audible alert when the set time has been reached. Safety features include automatic shutdown, child lock, overheat protection, and overflow protection, which will temporarily disable the power if boiling liquid touches the control panel. This model's oven includes an interior light and window to keep your cooking in view. Two adjustable racks make it easy to accommodate a variety of sizes. The waist-high broiler is located inside the oven, allowing you to switch functions without moving contents to a separate compartment on the floor. Under the oven is a lower drop-down compartment ideal for storing cookware. Summit's American-made induction ranges are ADA compliant, with the cooktop controls located upfront and the oven knob centered on the front manifold for easy and accessible use. With its slim fit and safety-conscious design, this series is perfect for apartments, senior living, ADUs, and other kitchens with smaller footprints. Additional choices are available in stainless steel (TEM665BW) and white (WEM665W), as well as traditional coil and radiant stoves in this size. Browse the full Summit collection for more choices.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future.
Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies.
It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.
Appliances
can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new
appliances
should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.
