The ac cools very well. There should be a way to change the default settings as every time the unit is turned on the temperature is set to 72°F and ECO mode. The wifi and integration with Alexa needs to be worked on. It seems that quite frequently it will not connect to the wifi, but wifi always shows strong signal. Also, the control from Alexa is only on/off and does not allow setting temperature, changing mode, etc,...

My bedroom is in the attic, 3rd floor, so it gets hot in the summer up there. This ac cools the room quick! I™™m a night shift nurse, so being able to turn the ac on before I leave work is a huge plus. My room is cooled off so I can get some good sleep before heading back in to the hospital. I took away one star just from how loud it can be.

Good overall - a bit loud

The unit works well and most of the time the app works fine. It is a bit slow to respond to the input but I assume that is network latency. The AC works as designed though I think I should have purchased a larger unit. It is quite a bit louder than the marketing makes it sound but not unpleasant.The settings and features all work well for me though I haven't used the dehumidify/dry option yet. The fan is relatively strong and the unit's compressor seems powerful enough. I use this to supplement the central AC in my townhome as the central AC doesn't regulate temperature well on the top floor, especially in the loft which I use as a home office. So far it serves its purpose well but it hasn't got very hot where I live yet so iImay update this review once it's in the 80s and 90s. I wish the townhome had multi-zone controls but it is a unit from the 80s and this was cheaper than doing an HVAC overhaul. It seems to mostly draw about 150-700 watts. I put a watt meter on it to get an idea since I couldn't put it on a dedicated circuit. Had I known it would be this efficient I would have gone one size up for the nominal price increase. Also when it is "off" in low power mode it draws 1 or less watts which is super impressive. That just allows you to turn on the unit remotely via the app or the included remote.The remote and app work to my satisfaction. The instructions could have been slightly clearer but they included enough foam and such for me. I have a windows that is just barely big enough to fit the unit inside and I guess that is a slight advantage because there was plenty of insulation included. Most people say you need to buy extra in general but I had plenty.

This replaced a 10K BTU Frigidaire Window Air Conditioner that did not last through two Cooling seasons. I'm hoping this Appliance will exceed my expectations and will allow me to fully appreciate the on-board features. So Far, So Good. The WIFI allows me the opportunity to save money on utilities thru scheduling hours of use via smartphone app. It also requires less energy in the start-up phase, ideal to operate in my older apartment setting. I believe its actually quieter then previously owned units. I live in an urban environment, so I really appreciate having an enhanced filter system.
