While Covid-19's direct impact to our daily lives may have shifted, making life feel more "normal," the challenges the pandemic brought to manufacturing remain and, in some cases, have worsened.

I wanted to take a minute to explain some of these challenges that our industry is facing and how you, our ABW clients, may continue to be impacted. Currently, our industry is being affected by a worldwide appliance shortage. This shortage was created by increased demand for home appliances as well as delays in the production of new appliances due to global raw material shortages. These shortages include computer chips, stainless steel, foam insulation, labor to manufacture, and logistical problems nationwide which include trucking shipments and delays at national ports.

Please know that we are doing everything possible to overcome these challenges in order to get your order expedited as soon as possible.

Lead times for backordered appliances vary by manufacturer and may take up to 12 months or more. Our knowledgeable sales team and delivery staff will do the best they can in order to provide you with information as it is related to us by our manufacturers. Please understand that the information that we get from the manufacturers is subject to change. Dates that move up or back in regard to delivery to our warehouse are out of ABW's control. We understand that these are challenging times for everyone and ABW is committed to doing everything possible to get your order to you as soon as we receive it at our warehouse.
