Dacor Appliances: What They Add To Your Northern Virginia Home
First established as a small family-operated appliance store in Northern California in 1933, Stan Joseph quickly become a leader of the kitchen appliance industry with Dacor appliances. His innovation and forward-thinking led to the invention of the first complete kitchen ventilation system including the first indoor electric barbecue.
Dacor appliances have produced a complete line of kitchen appliances, including several industry firsts. The infrared gas broiler inside an electric oven, a Pure Convection™ system for even heat distribution, a better baking method in the Butterfly Bake Element and the extra-large cooking system of Dacor Greats™ allows for side-by-side cooking with large pots and pans.
The newest products in the Dacor appliances line includes the Distinctive 24" Microwave Oven which features sensor technology that allows for cooking based on the moisture level in the food, rather than a set time and cook power. The automatic settings allow for sensor cooking for ground meat, popcorn, baked potatoes and more. Also, the Distinctive 24" Microwave Oven from Dacor appliances features an "auto start" option, much like that found on many ovens today. The auto start feature allows you to program the microwave to begin cooking at a set time allowing for perfectly timed meals.
Based on the Dacor appliances invention of the first indoor ventilation system, the Epicure 36" Raised Ventilation System provides the necessary power to eliminate smoke and cooking fumes from the kitchen with a simple touch of the button. The vent is tucked discreetly beneath the countertop when not in use, as to eliminate the ventilation system dropping down from the ceiling. This new ventilation system from Dacor appliances is perfect for installation in kitchens with an island or a peninsula, or wall installation as well.
The Distinctive 36" Gas Cooktop from Dacor appliances combines superior artisanship with modern style as it enhances the look of countertops and cabinetry. The ergonomic and angled control knobs make cooking easier while the SimmerSear™ burner provides the perfect kitchen solution for melting, sautéing, searing or simmering.
